Our halibut cheeks are packed in vacuum sealed 1lb pouches. Hand cut from fish delivered to the Co-op, halibut cheeks are known for their tender, scallop-like texture and sweet, delicate flavor, making them a true seafood delicacy. Perfect for pan-searing, grilling, or poaching, halibut cheeks bring exceptional quality and taste to any kitchen.
Halibut cheeks and Black Cod Tips (collar meat) is often discarded by Alaska processors because they are labor intensive to cut from the fish. We are over joyed that Seafood Producers Co-op has agreed to cut a limited amount for us to sell this spring. Not only are they delicious, but preserving these premium cuts helps ensure more of the fish is put to good use—supporting a more sustainable and responsible way to enjoy seafood.
